I'm not one of them. I spent two decades in senior leadership in financial services, managing global teams across technology and people development. Then I walked away, moved to the United States, and built a luxury real estate business from nothing with Sotheby's International Realty — no network, new country, new city, new career.
Then I did it again, in Japan. I know what it takes to build, to lead, and to start over — because I've done all three, several times.
